This week, we’re thrilled to highlight one of our dedicated TSM project managers, Dean Blundell. We had the pleasure of chatting with Dean about the crucial work he does for TSM and what he enjoys getting up to in his spare time.
How long have you worked for TSM and Why are you still here?
“I have been working for TSM for 8 years now, Id says the reason I’m still a part of TSM is that I have an outstanding relationship with my directors and there is progression. I started off as an installer and have now moved up onto running various projects around the country.”
What’s the best part of your job?
“I would say the best part of my job is the people that I work alongside on a daily basis.”
What makes your team run so smoothly?
“I wouldn’t say the team always runs smoothly; the nature of some jobs can be very demanding, with different deadlines to meet and projects to get over the line. However, what I can guarantee is that everyone is always there for each other and provides support wherever they can.”
If you could give younger you one piece of advice, what would you say?
“If I were to give my younger self one piece of advice, I would say to be more assertive.”
What advice would you give a new hire at the company?
“If I were to give a new hire a piece of advice, I would say, don’t be too proud to ask for help.”
What do you do in your spare time?
“In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family as well as following the mighty Tottenham Hotspur.”
If you could move to any other country, which would you move to?
“Anywhere hot! My go too place to live would be Spain.”
What is your biggest pet peeve?
“I would say my biggest pet peeve is people who are always late.”
You find a lottery ticket to win £10 million. What would you do?
“If I were to find a lottery ticket to win £10 million, I would try to find out who lost it and give it back to them.”
If you could have an unlimited supply of one thing, what would it be?
“If I were to have an unlimited supply of one thing then it would be golf holidays.”
If you could see one movie again for the first time, what would it be?
“If I were to see one movie again for the first time then it would be ‘The Equalizer’ with Denzel Washington.”
If you had a talk show, dead or alive, which three celebrities would you invite on and why?
“If I were to have a talk show I would invite on Teddy Sheringham (My all-time favourite footballer), Tony Soprano (I love the series) and Ali Campbell from UB40 (I Love the music).
